Question on Emblems

Hello!

My G35 was totaled 3 weeks ago when someone ran a red and hit me so now I have a new 2013 G37S!! I want to remove all of the emblems and wanted to know if the Infiniti symbol can also be removed on the trunk since the older G35's had a hole behind it.

Thanks!

They are all just glued on. You're good to on removing everything.

They're put on with 3M tape.

Do a search for "debadge" on here and you'll get the DIY a few people have made.

Advice: take your time.

Thanks. I did it before with my G35 so I should be OK but I'll check the DIY here just in case. Just wanted to make sure there was no hole behind the emblem. Thanks!

If you're on good terms with your dealership, they might even do it for you on your next oil change. They certainly would have done it if you mentioned it before picking up the car.

I have a different question (but on topic). Are the emblems re-usable once removed? Or - once removed do you need new ones?

Unsure if they are 'stick once', 'buy twice'

The emblems are pretty robust actually. They can be easily removed without being damaged and applied with just some silicone. or more double stick tape.
