I see what you're referring to now. The GT-Spec bracket allows for vertical adjustment. That's excellent! So I wrote to GT-Spec just now asking if the bar can be ordered without their logo etched into the middle of the bar. If they say "yes", then that's my new wishlist item.

Thanks for the nudge, Ash.

glad I could help!

Also, if you powdercoat it with a matte or satin finish that's thick enough, the etch shouldn't show at all.

I'd like a Fast Intentions exhaust. Likely with the resonated HFC's, but I worry about being legal in CA.

That and a custom tune and I would be finished with mods. I also like the quieter exhausts. I had a Stillen cat back on my '04 G35, and the freeway drone was bothersome.

Are you worried about visual inspection, or SMOG numbers?

(sigh) This isn't at all the response I was hoping for from GT-Spec. Seriously! They couldn't just pull one out of the bin before it gets hacked?

John,
Sorry we do not offer our brace without our laser etched logo.

Thank you
Sales

which is why all reviews say the ride on M's is very harsh. Biggest and most consistent complaint.

Be careful what you wish for. I'm regretting my purchase of the Stillen exhaust. At full throttle it sounds great. Driving around town (90% of my driving) it sounds like drone-city. So unless you like to constantly be reminded that you have an aftermarket exhaust on your car, I'd be careful with my purchase decision.

That was my experience with the Stillen, as well. I'd prefer max flow, but minimum noise.

Ash, California is the smog **** of all states. Not only do they test the emissions, they look at EVERYTHING and if it isn't CARB (california air resource board) certified, you don't pass.

Yeah I know- I'm from there and only moved to DC Metro recently. It's just that I've been able to pass fine with HFCs if you go to the right shop. and make sure your exhaust is good and warm when it's tested.

Have they upped visual inspections?

If it's a wishlist we're talking about here (regardless of likelihood), then I would someday like to separate my toy from my daily driver. So in that context I wish for a 3 car garage and a wider latitude for discretionary funds.

Although I like Ash's first post, and would be exceedingly happy with those coilovers.

Holy crap... forget that. I'll take Ash's advice and look in to the 370z rims.
