Pikes Peak in your G? Anyone? (pic included)

Odd part was we went back up on the cog railway about 5 days later and stayed about 45 minutes and we both felt fine. According to them, the stays over about an hour is where it starts to bother you if you aren't accustomed to it.
We live in Illinois so just being at some friends' house in Aurora for 10 days was a change from here @ 490ft ASL.
Awesome and want to go back!

I just got my new (to me) 2011 G37x - live in Denver and planning on doing Pike's Peak sometime in the next two weeks. Took mine up Lookout Mountain today though and it was beautiful - some really exciting and windy roads on the way up too. Really worth doing, especially since it's just 20 minutes outside Denver near Red Rocks. Here are a few pics:

IMG_1835.jpg - a really cool panorama from the top, you can see Denver in the right middle and the Rockies on the left side. It's big, give it a minute to load.

That's really cool. Great pictures.
Besides your own mild-hypoxia, that car must have been seriously wheezing by the top. There's a reason all the cars that run that race are forced-injection...
