I noticed a strange noise coming from the enginer after driving it today. I have another g37x too and it doesnt make that noise. Any thoughts?

Check your oil levels. Sounds like a bit of engine knock.

If you hear it again, the best way to diagnose is with a mechanic's stethoscope. If you don't have one you can use a big screwdriver - place the tip on various engine parts and place the handle end firmly against your ear. You'll be able to hear the source of the knock. To do it thoroughly you may have to remove shrouds and even get the car on a lift or on jackstands with the engine running to get at all of the necessary components. Beware of moving parts!!!

One time I had a knock that sounded like the knock in your video and it turned out to be a fractured serpentine belt slapping aginst the idler pully.

Have head fuel rails on older Gs make similar noises and even belt tensioner bearing pulleys going bad have made similar noise altough they sound more like a rattle.
