You think Nissan will surprise everyone and reveal it in January? Cuz Infiniti specifically confirmed first debut will be in March, at the Geneva Show

Why does this car look almost exactly like the maxima to me? I enjoy the styling of the G. Its one of the only car companies that don't almost directly copy paste from one tier car to the next (i.e honda - acura )

they are doing what BMW/Mercedes/AUDI/Lexus have done. it will more than likely look like a sized down M37. just like 528/328 etc. it wont look like the maxima. but they are going to do the same thing they just did with the Altima Redesign,.

I felt that way too when I first saw it. Now I'm starting to wonder if they are trying to make the front end look more GTR-ish...

But I'm not sure I like what I'm (not) seeing so far... Only way I'm really interested if there is a switch to forced induction. Otherwise, I'll likely keep my sedan and the well-established aftermarket that exists for it.

fyi, there existed a downsized M37 which is the M25 with 2.5L. This means this redesigned version is gonna be a mule in between a G and M. Which could be good or bad,.
nonetheless I like my current G '11 the best look!

plus, recently the anti-japanese movement in China factory could results further budget cuts to Japanese car manufacturers. so this could results in cut in R&D budget so dont expect better quality if thats a reason some past cars are better in fact,.

And we have a Sport Package (2014 G Sedan)

Reading about the 2014 G sedan have been seen almost by everyone but the pictures pretty much only show the Journey, but upon looking on a forum provided by P Casey, I found a post of the actual sport package.

http://www.417infiniti.com/blog/spy-...elease-online/

Akebono BBK seem to transfer over to 2014 (Front brakes look like they might be a 6 Piston)

New Sport wheels

Lower Suspension

Front Bumber looks a little more aggresive (The DRLs which are apparently are off also work as turn signals)

The calipers look like the current 4-piston jobbies up front to me...

And the suspension may appear lower than it really is simply because the car is turning and you are seeing the "out" side of the turn. Not really a great indicator of its normal cruising look.

Anyone else also wondering if the front grille is going to have this downward grimace in production? Looks a little like one of those ugly old grimacing samurai impressions.
