I went to the Dallas Auto Show this weekend and they had the Q50 there. I talked to the lady they had answering questions for a minute, but she didn't know much. The most interesting thing she mentioned was that the Hybrid will have a 350hp, 34 MPG engine. She didn't really know any specifics like price, options, and colors.
I like the car, but I think after having a G35 and now a G37, it's not cool enough to buy a 3rd Infiniti in a row.
It was on a spinning display that was moving pretty quick so it was hard to get good photos, but here is what I got.

I'v had 2 G35s now as well (05, and current 08) and I keep thinking it will be 'lame' to get another Infiniti, but if the Q50 drives amazing, then to hell with it. I'll stick with the brand.
Great pictures! Always wondering what are the holes in the rear bumper for? It's an eyesore which destroys the smooth flow of the contour. Toyotas, Hyundais all have them, looks plain cheap and ugly, but why?
Thanks!
Nice pics, I was actually there as well with my uncle. I have iPhone pics of it. Honestly it looks okay. I was a little taken back when seeing it in person, all the pics of it make it look amazing, seems like a lot if pics posted on the net have been edited big time. it looks a lot different in my normal iPhone pics not edited. Interior is nice but I think that's it, the wheels are awful and still has wheel gap bad. Again, nice car but nothing to go crazy about. I think I like the current 2013 G sedan with sports appearance pkg better. That's my opinion though.

I think I need to see this car with a more sportier package. Maybe in black or white with a nice set of wheels and all the chrome blacked out. (I hate chrome)
You see the entry level benz's and entry level BMW's everywhere. Every other soccer mom in my area drives the baby 3 series or baby C class. Those dont stand out in the crowd because you pull into the grocery store parking lot or the soccer fields on a saturday morning and every other car is a baby BMW or baby C class or minivan.
I think Audi has done a great job standing out over the past few years, Lexus has done a good job with the IS redesign, and I think Infiniti did very well with the Q50.
Acura on the other hand stands out with the TL, but only because its absolutely fugly.
I disagree. When I think doesnt stand out in the crowd, I think of all the 325/328 BMW's and the C-class Mercedes.
