Help needed. Stock amp MIA.
Help needed. Stock amp MIA.
So currently I'm attempting to find the amp on my car.
The car was pre-owned (2011 model year) so possibly the previous owner switched out the amp? The speakers still work fine so they have to be connected somewhere.
I removed the side panels by the door to see if I could track back a speaker wire but they are all covered/wrapped, and appear to be heading up the pass-through to the back.
Stock amp MIA. - Imgur - pictures in following order: two of the amp looking device, the stock amp's alleged location, the side panel where the pass-through is.
Update: I figured out I have the base audio system so now my question has changed to where would I go to find the output to the speakers? Would I go have to go behind the nav and audio display?

If you have bose, the amp is located inside the trunk, underneath your rear deck Pull down the trim cover and it will be on the left hand side. If you dont have bose the amp is internal of your radio/cd player.
I don't have bose, so do you have any reference of how to access the location of the internal amp? Ie. how to get to it if I have to take apart the center console, speaker wire configurations, wire voltages, etc?
