Why no rain sensing wiper option on 6MT?
I am about to make a deposit on a 2012 G37 6MT tomorrow. I wasn't planning on a car purchase but this happened to my 05 G35: http://g35driver.com/forums/g35-seda...f-streets.html 
Anyway, I was just wondering why the rain sensing wipers as part of the technology package, is not available to 6MT buyers. I know it's not necessary, but auto-headlights are so convenient. I figure wipers would be too.

I think because the rain sensing wipers are bundled into the Tech Package, which is not available on 6MT due to the adaptive cruise control. Can't imagine Adaptive Cruise Control being very helpful in a 6MT since it most likely would downshift to adjust the vehicle speed.
