That's amazing. I can't imagine how hopeless you must have felt after that hailstorm. That's comforting to know the tech in hail repair is good enough to get you a better-than-new car.

Random things happen. Knock on wood.

No doubt they did an excellent job on restoring your car, but "better than new"?

It off the 405 freeway exit normandie and go to 190th street and there is a walmart there. We will be parked between the carls and taco bell in the walmart parking lot. I will put the address in the other thread.

There were more swirl marks on it when 'new' then when I got it back from repair shop. I made very sure the guys at Craigs Collision knew I was very particular about the car. The guy I worked with was also a 'car guy'. He personally made sure the car came back flawless. E-mails every day - and pics along the way. I was very happy with the work.

Isn't a brand new G supposed to have white plastic films on most painted surfaces? So if there were swirl marks, it was likely come straight from the factory, which is, for an Infiniti, well.. unimaginable. Must have test driven by a union worker on a Friday night shift when his supervisor was high on meth.

Glad you were covered by great people. I personally don't feel comfortable at all let anyone work on my car, but it all depends on luck I guess.

Shipped w/film - yes. Film removed and car prepped by dealer - yes. That 'prepping' left swirl marks. I mentioned to dealer - they attempted a 'fix'. That fix left different swirl marks. I didn't bring it to them again.

I'm with you - I don't like anyone working on my car. But if you would have saw my car after that hail storm...it looked like I drove through a war zone. Fixing it was way beyond my skill....

Anyway - that event is becoming a distant memory - and I hope to never have to experience it again. BUT - no covered parking at my place of work...so.......you never know.
