I wonder under what conditions really brings out the purple? I've been looking at some pics of some on dealer lots and they look the same as the obsidian black for the most part.

just saw this thread i have 11 LE these didnt come out in canada i think im the only one who went and imported one in just so i could have this version fell in love with it first time i saw it.

gotten alot of compliments on the seats and the malbec paint

 

Saw a LE parked in the parking lot at Rib Hut in El Paso, TX on Friday. Really nice interior. I wish I had that red interior on my red car. That would be awesome.

I'm looking at photos of the 2012 LE on the Infiniti USA website. It looks lowered, is this true or just photoshopping?

Was this offered in Canada? I picked up my '12xS in August and that was never offered to me. Infact they had a tough time finding a black xS. Originally wanted a 6MT but apparently there was none left in Canada. Would of totally loved that red leather!

 

nope only offered in states only 400 made thats why i imported mine its one of a kind

 

Interesting that there were no unsold '12 6MT Sedans left in Canada in August, when I got mine last March there were apparently only 3 available. Dealer might have been excluding some west coast cars though (expensive to ship). I wouldn't be shocked if there were only a small number (<12) imported in the Fall of '11 and that was it.

Obviously lots more 6MT's in the states but definitely not one on every corner north of LA. I thought all of the LE's were automatics but could be mistaken.

BTW, you get the best of both worlds with the 6MT and a set of LE wheels, unless you have your heart set on red leather...

 

For 2011 - 350 sedans, 200 coupes, and 200 verts. Not 400. This is according to Infiniti's own website.
