I'd appreciate any feedback you can provide. I just purchased a 2012 G37x sedan last week pretty loaded with Premium/Navi/Interior accents and Illuminated kick plates. I traded in my 2009 G37x with similar equipment, but it came with a console tray. My '12 does not, and I'm not sure it was an oversight or it is no longer included. For all those who've just bought a '12 G37x sedan, did yours come with the console tray?

 

I have the 2012 coupe and it did not come with the tray either. I retained the one I had in the 2009 coupe i traded!

 

12' here also with no console tray, they stopped offering them in 2009.
The parts dept can order you one for ($30-$45)

Well I'll be damned. Had to google it since I haven't seen one on a G. I'd grab it from your old car if your dealer didn't already sell it.

 

Oops, sedan part I'm sorry. I was talking about the drink holder that sits in the center consule of the coupes.

 

the center console is already too small IMO so I don't miss the tray. My 2012 didn't come with one either. Just call your salesman, they will do almost anything to keep you happy until you fill out your survey. they'll give you your old one or a new one.

 

Exact same thing for me, I traded my 2009 G37X loaded for the 2012 G37X 10 days ago, I noticed while I was still at dealer, so I took the tray from the 09.

The console on the 12 even has the slots to insert tray. really pathetic on Infiniti's part to save 50 cents on a $45K car in Canada.

What is this console tray you speak of? Someone take a picture of their 2010+ console tray.

But I don't understand... it sits on top of your cupholders (sic) and gives you an even smaller space than otherwise. What's the advantage to that? And can you still slide the door closed?

 

Fits inside the automatic's center console. I put my wallet and keys in it. Not sure about how it fits the 6mt.

 

I wish I would have grabbed it, but I didn't think I would have to, thinking it was already equipped with one. I think the salesperson should be able to get me one. I usually use it for change, but if he can't get me one, $10 won't kill me.

 

Mine was like 9-something.
