which car should i get?!?

hey guys i'm fairly new to this forum and i got a question.
im looking to buy a car soon, i have narrowed it down to a 2008 g35xs for around $22,000 or a 2009 g37x for around $22,000 they both have under 30,000 miles, which one would u guys reccomend and why. thanks for the help!!!!

Do you know the differences between the two?
For example, do you prefer the feel of the standard seats or the sport seats? Some have complained (unfortunately post purchase) that the sport seats are too firm or to narrow too comfortably fit their frame.
Items such as paddle shifters and a few external differences could be added to an X at a pretty affordable cost.
A year newer and the 3.7L can make a positive difference in re-sale.

IMO, get the G37x

thanks for the opinion, what would you say performance wize, i know the g35 is quicker off the line and the g37 has roughly 30 more horses, but theres really no comparisons i can find online pinning one up against the other.

i think one of the main reasons i like the g35 is becasue the sport rims look sick, i kno its a little thing but its persuasive. other than that i probably like the g37 more. does anyone know roughly how much a nice pair of rims and all season tires would cost, and if there is any place i could sell the stock g37 rims.

The price of a set of "nice" rims and all season tires is highly variable depending on size, quality, etc, but if I have to throw out a number, let's say about $3500.

You can try to sell your stock rims and tires online but I would keep them and put them back on the car when you trade or sell it, and then sell the aftermarket rims.

I have an 08 G35xS that I got with 29k miles on it last year. I have to say personally I like the seats in the S WAY better than the non sport model but it all depends on how big of a guy you are. They are much more narrow than the non S seats. That being said - the S series cars by all brands have the better seats always. Basically the S is all cosmetic, no performance changes. Different bumper, rims, paddle shifters(which I love but can be had for around $200 I think, and its an easy install) and the seats. I live in NY and the X is necessary for the winters. I drove my buddies G35 rwd that he brought from vegas when he lived there and it was awful in the snow. The 35x can be a lot of fun in the winter! I got a g37x as a rental a few times but didn't like it as much as mine for some reason, but it "felt" faster, however all my research says its not...

BTW I paid $27k for my G35xS last May from local Infiniti dealer...so either one at 22k is a great price. either way...look into the Infiniti Elite protection plan from Infiniti Of Scottsdale, best price around!! cheaper before you roll over 30k miles

The Sport Package is essentially pointless on the AWD model, so since the price is the same between these two, get the G37x.
