Nice car! Can't go wrong going with another G! And the newer exterior styling is just super sweet compared to the 2007-2009!

 

Well, finally got some pictures. This car is just so sweet.

 

After driving the car a few days, I can definitely say the downshift issue that was present in my '09 is completely gone. Downshifts in the '12 are smooth as can be. The transmission seems a good deal more refined.

 

I absolutely love that color! Malbec Black is stunning. The interior is also better than I anticipated.

 

The interior is actually pretty impressive. The maple wood trim (which is something I probably wouldn't have added if it hadn't already been there) looks really good with the "Wheat" interior.

Apparently I was fortunate they had a Malbec one to offer me, it seems to be a tough color to get (kind of like Athens Blue on the coupes)?

 

I had the wheat interior on my '04 G35 and loved it.

I just HAD to have the Monaco red seats, though.

I have to say this, though... I am a little bit pissed that they made this color available. I got the 2011 Limited Edition and it isn't so "limited" now that everybody and their brother can have this color.

"Only 350 sedans made, world wide!" was their sales campaign... now it means jack and squat.
