New 2012 6MT
Someone was selling accent lights on here for like $100 and it's prob a simple DIY as long as you have some basic electrical knowledge. As for DRL, there are also DIY mods on here that you can do yourself for < $100 or conversely you can go to a local shop and have it done. I've seen it quoted anywhere from $200-300 to have it done here in ATL at least. Def do not pay someone > $1K to do simple work you can do yourself.
off topic, but goofy story about my local dealer related to the 6MT sedans: we all know the 6MTs come with the big Akebono sport brake kit. i was in at my local dealer the other day asking about brake pads with the parts manager. i told him my S sedan had the sport brakes. he asked if i had retrofitted the coupe brakes. i said no, the 6MT sedan came with them - and shouldn't he know that? even after showing him my car he still does not believe they are factory.
as usual, there were no other 6MT sedans on the lot to show him. and none of the other nearby staff knew this either. i would expect a parts manager of 15 years to know that...goes to show how rare the 6MT sedan is, at least in my neck of the woods.

the interior accent lights are a simple DIY as long as you own a drill or a dremel tool, takes maybe an hour to an hour and a half to install, would be quicker, but working on a brand new car pulling panels off makes most work slowly and cautiously.
The running lights require pulling the front bumper off and running wires through the firewall I believe, it's a lot more complicated than it really needs to be, but most add ons seem to be. (why they couldn't predrill the panels and put caps or screws on them for the splash guards, accent lights, etc like every other manufacturer I'll never know).

But a Parts Manager not knowing about the brakes...? That's lame.
