defintiely sounds like the sensor has gone bad?
a friend of mine had a G in which the sensor would go ON when no one was in the seat!
nothing the dealership couldnt fix

Don't the auto company's tell us not to let children sit in the front passenger seat as they could be badly injured by the air bag in an accident? I would think the average child is less then 100 pounds and as such could not even set the air bag off. I'm probably misunderstanding something so take it easy on me.

1) I experience the same exact thing when I put my bookbag in the passenger seat and it's a tad on the heavy side since I keep my laptop and a thick math textbook in it.
