I like the 09 diffuser so much more than the '10+, Looks good so far! have you tried to clean it at all? Curious why you decided on gunmetal when your car is already a dark grey, going for more of a matte look?

Ok, for some reason I thought I read you were doing all the chrome trim in black and the gunmetal on all the painted surfaces.

Very appropriately timed thread for me....thanks for the info so far. I just ordered several cans of black and Glossifier PlasitDip from dipyourcar.com to do my grille, window trim, and chrome trunk finisher. Looking forward to the progress of your project.

I'll be starting on the body this weekend. I'll have to divide it up in sections to spray so its even and smooth.

Plasti-dip FAIL: What not to do - G35 NYC

^OP, just don't make the same mistake as this guy...i'd try it on one body panel first to see if you can easily remove it

^ Man, that sucks.

It seems they didn't apply it nearly thick enough though.

Quan, i don't think 6 coats will be thick enough for the body panels, especially since you're using diluted PD. Also, try to clay the entire car prior.

And yeah, don't use an industrial grade pressure washer.
