Ever consider thicker mesh for that style of grill? This stuff pretty closey matches the OEM lower mesh grill/air dam, but is still see-thru enough to show the air intakes. Plastic Grill Mesh Sheets
Put the Avalon King ceramic coat on her a few weeks back. I think this is the second wash in about two months since it has been on. The ceramic coat has been ok as far as durability wise but it did give it a nice deep gloss.
I always thought your car had the OEM front lip but looks so awesome without it. Car is exceptionally clean after almost 12 years!
I think it looks great both ways, however I think I prefer the Sport lip as it gives the car an ever lower stance. I would have one on my car already if it wasn't so expensive.

Agree that the OEM sport lip, midnight grill and rear spoiler transform the image of the car. Downside is the front lip feels like it adds another 1-2 inches in the front that is hard to judge when parking, so it loves to find high curbs (fine as long as nobody else drives the car). It also collects rock chips quickly, which is why I ended up pimping mine out as replacements are difficult to locate for a reasonable price and all the body shops I approached regarding painting gave me the Heisman. I spent years trying to maintain with Dr. Colorchip, but I recently threw in the towel. I'm glad that I went with the paint protective film 11 years ago on the rest of the front fascia as it has held up well (the lip was added years later).

Your G sedan is wild, looks like it could be the safety car in Monaco this weekend 🏎️ (pretty sure the G coupe was used back in the day, when the Red Bull team was cobranded with Infiniti).
The Mazda is a Mk 2 RX right? Just starting to get familiar with those, through osmosis (buddy of mine is in the market for one). What’re the specs?

Yes 2nd Gen RX7 series 4 Turbo II to be specific. 1988.
This jist of the mods are FMIC, mild street port, hybrid turbo, bigger injectors/fuel pump, clutch, rtek 2.1 (think a between point between factory ECU and Standlone), full straight 3" until muffler, and lots deleted. I'd say it's around 300whp and 2500 lbs. Been messing with the tune recently it may be over boosting so I have to play around with it a bit more. It's fast and fun though.
I washed my Q a bit ago, even with the junky KH3 paint it gets decent gloss. Infiniti has another black paint (Midnight Black), that has some metallic flake in it. The metallic flake I read is what helps hide imperfections such as minor scratches swirls etc.
I am waiting for the weather to get cooler so I can do some paint correction with some 3D light purple pads, ONE / Speed and then apply a nice wax.
I been using Meguiars Gold Class (very nice soap and cheap!), and will be switching over to 3D Pink soap / wash & wax once I am done with it. I also will be using the Nano pail of super soap (very high pH soap) to help really clean the surface before using a regular soap.
I put together a small cheap cart with my supplies.
