That is good news and surprising if it has metal top hats.
They could have metal upper mounts, but still have impregnated rubber bushing instead of a pillow ball style upper hat. It's the pillow ***** that tend to kill the ride.
My Air List suspension uses metal upper plates, but still has rubber bushings, so it rides very close to stock.

Oh yeah, "pillowball." That's the term I was looking for. I bet it has been about 15 years since I had a car with those types of coilovers and yes, they did ride awful on the street. They were great on the track though.
Yeah, I have pillowball upper mounts on my Intrax Suspension on my Porsche and it can get pretty harsh. Although, I also replaced the front control arm mounts and rear trailing arm bushings with monoball units, so that probably isn't helping the ride either.
Wow! Sport bumper, FTW! Your grille is gorgeous, and I love those fogs, and your headlights. On the fence about the running lights, but totally respect the project.
Are you going to figure out some kind of edging trim for the ACC box? It looks off somehow. And do you have to use a front plate in Ontario? Tow hook mounts always look wrong to me. I bet you've spent lot of time researching hide-a-way plate frames.

Good for you, Hexotic.
The DRL is getting switched up a tiny bit. I'll be adding the same grille mesh behind the little plate the 3 lights sit on. Will separate it nicely. Also, those will be swapped to switchbacks. Just ran out of time.
The ACC, yepz already ordered a corner trim piece. I putthe box in there with cable ties for now because I had to drive back to Toronto. Works for now.
I'll move the plate up a bit to allow more air to go into the lower grille, but yes, unfortunately I have to run a plate. Very tempted to order one of those hiding ones.
Nice Job with the front end conversion with the custom lights. Anyway for you to center the front license plate? The side offset using the tow hook adapter just looks odd to me, otherwise everything else looks great!

The only way would be to get a retractable plate. I don't want to drill holes on the front. I also like the centered look a lot more, but Ill take a pristine bumper over a central plate any day. I have more important things on my mind to tackle though. Y pipe, F1 resonated cats, retune. I'll revisit the front end later in the season if there is time and energy left. lol.
P.S. the plate being there also covers the power steering cooler entirely, so there is a practical reason to move it as well.
Being from the GTA, where are you getting that custom headlight work done? I can't stand my DRLs being full headlights. I don't really want to do any other mods but have yet to find anyone that knows how to change that.

In my living room and garage lol. You can either have an infiniti tech load a US vin into your car to trick the system, works 50/50 and they wont do it because its illegal unless you add other DRL first, or just hack the fusebox like I did and add a switch. You can hit up GTA Retrofits, they seem to know what they're doing, but I didn't see this as hard enough of a project to pay someone else to do it.

Throwing in a few more photos
The car looks great Hexotic - everything came together really nicely.
I love sport bumper so much I bought one myself. Currently sitting primed in my living room - I've gotten pretty wildly different quotes (Orlando area) for getting it painted KAD for my 2011 but still unsure whether I should spend the extra money (for a higher quality shop). I'm worried about the blend/matching since I'm in FL and our cars take a beating. Taking my time before I pull the trigger. Also trying to find the chin spoiler as well but there aren't really any discounts anyhwere I've found.
Yeah, at least black is easy to colour match. I got a few quotes, I went with the middle ground. Most expensive was $500 (CAD) and lowest was $180. I went with a $300 shop and I'm pretty happy.
