That translator is kickin.. haha
I don't believe this car suffers from heat soak much, if any. I'm used to boosted cars where people go WAY out of their way to pull cold air into the engine.
If you go FI, you'll need a good intercooler, of course, and maybe some additional ducting / channeling. But being NA and pulling relatively cold air even in a stock form, I don't think additional cooling or venting is needed.

Consider this my "before" pic. Just picked her up last month. Can't wait to get my hands dirty.

Thanks man. This pic is a little tricky with the colors. It's actually KAD Graphite something or another. All of my friends thought it was either blue or black in that pic

Thanks! They are Work Emotion XC8 19", they were only in production for a year I believe. Wrapped in 245s all around. This is the Xs model dropped on Swift springs.

Looking your photo from another post, you from Calgary as well? If you are then I recommend going with Swift springs, unless you are going coilovers. Any lower it will probably become a nuisance... The ride height is perfect for the amount of snow that we get. My front lip does kind of turn into a shovel but only in deep snow.

yikes, those swirls on the rear bumper would say otherwise!

Did you do it by hand or machine? Also, was your car repainted? the quarter panel has lots of orange peel.

2012 G37x - 45% tint front and 35% tint rears, weather tech front and rear window visors, K&N drop in air filters. Planning to purchase either 18 or 19's next spring and potentially lowering on swift springs due to the roads and snow. Shout out to anyone from Calgary.
