Theres been quite a bit of change since then....but its def one of my favorites

Can't wait to finish with the brakes, paint the wheels, and for summer to come so the car can stay clean for longer than 30 minutes, then I can show my girl off

 

Can't wait to see those perrrrty new Akebono's on your car, Andy! Not only should they look amazing, but your gonna be really happy with all that extra stopping power, especially when paired with the Hawk pads. I absolutely love that set-up on my car!

 

This morning, a woman in a Mercedes suv made a left turn into the right lane, ignoring her stop sign, right in front of me. I dropped the brake pedal to the floor, lots of tire squeal, left some serious skid marks. (not in my pants, but almost) Speed limit was 60km/h (37 in american), I was going 65. I stopped about an inch away from her rear bumper. If my brakes were crap (nothing special, hawk ceramic pads with stoptech rotors), I would have rear-ended her, HARD. Pulled up beside her... of course she is on her cellphone, with a friggin' baby on the back seat... Rolled down my window to say something, she gave me a dirty look, and flipped me off like I was at fault.

Good thing (well, in my case) is that there was a serious accident just two lights ahead of this, and the cops there saw what happened. Pulled her over. I slowed down to chat with them, the officer asked if I was ok.

Long story short.... cant wait for the extra stopping power... lol

Ha! Thanks. I actually threw this video together on my iPhone for some buddies ahead of our Friday Night Street Drags event last night at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park. Then figured it was time to join the forum and use it as an intro video. I'll post up time slips in the 1/4 mile time thread.

Putting myself back through school and I'm on a limited budget so it may not be much but better than stock!!

 

Got my stock G37 paint corrected a couple days ago. Either I'll start throwing some money at it or trade it in later this year, can't make up my mind.

 

Gave her a nice cleaning today
