If we've learned anything from Dora the Explorer, it's that repeating a thing with conviction is a pretty basic behavioral mod. So good luck with that.

Spent the last few decades wondering why people were lowering their cars. Eventually manufacturers started creating cars better stanced by design... mostly flush, with a consistent gap around the tire. I suspect the trend is part & parcel to aftermarket wheels growing in diameter, to where 20" rims are the norm.

Anyway, by the time I turned 50 (That's Fifty, LOL), I realized my car looks better when flushed and fit. So my point here is to never say never.

The G just looks silly stock with the massive wheel gaps and sunken in wheels. IMO a flush fit with less gap is a must.

There's been a bunch of times my stock X sedan has scraped this winter, no way I could DD this car lowered.

Love those IPL wheels! Every time I see them I think about ditching my nismos.

I was against lowering also. My first car that I lowered was my Z. I was 39.

I'm 44 now and my G will probably never go back to stock height.

You don't have to go super low. This is my daily driver. Snow and all.

Team Stock Height checking in

The gap's easily tolerable to me
To the folks saying they won't go back, is it mostly due to looks or driving feel?

Both for me. Mine is an X and the difference is pretty huge.

Hope you didn't think I was saying anything negative about your car, your G looks great. I understand not wanting to lower it as it comes with it's own set of cons.
But like Rochester stated, never say never, at least around here, the Koolaid we pass around is free

But you don't have to drink it

I appreciate it guys! I didn't mean to make it sound rude or anything but I just can't bring myself to do it as the gap isn't THAT big to me so it doesn't bother me. But hey maybe you guys are right and one day it will bother me haha.

lol I daily drive my car even in the winter/snow, I'm lowered pretty good. Granted we didn't get much snow this season in the D.C. area but last year we got a good amount and I had no problems.
