ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS!!!
God damn it. That's like $100 more than I thought it would be to pay FI so that I could demonstrate brand appreciation. I was expecting maybe a little bit over the typical GT-R button on Amazon, but this is just stupid.
Oh man, I hate getting excited about something, only to have the rug pulled out from under my feet.
And yes, apparently the center does light up... not that I care anymore.

Yes it's $150 and its expensive but it's NOT overpriced. The metallic red paint finish is much more premium than the GTR button!! And the clear coat feels better than the stock button by a long shot. It's the LITTLE things.

It's very nice, and it's a wonderfully personal touch for anyone who is proud to have chosen FI components. (That includes me. Love my FI cats & catback.) However, it is absolutely, ridiculously over-priced. I'd like one, but just on principle alone, I can't do it. And not for nothing, but FI should be virtually giving those things away at cost, if only for the marketing buzz.
Not that I haven't spent money on things that seem superfluous. God knows, I've got some titanium nuts and bolts are can easily be argued as pretty darn silly bits of rationalization. That's not the point. It's about fairness, and $150 is just wrong, IMO.

I'm with you Rochester.
Thats how i felt when i looked at the price of the GTR auto shift ****.

I mean it looks nice but doesn't look better than the GTR button. It has a logo in it. Big deal, and at triple the price of a stock GTR button or 2-2 1/2 times a modded one....I'll pick the one that I can mod to my liking. "Metallic red paint finish is much more premium" now that **** made laugh! Guess you have to pick something to justify it. As always to each their own, but that was hilarious

In my opinion it IS the logo that makes it nice. Every push-to-start button has start/stop on it. The logo makes it unique. Also, metallic red paint IS premium; last I checked, most euro manufacturers charge a premium for metallic paints. And I don't need to justify it by anything other than I like it, so that is all that matters. But, I absolutely HAD to respond because of just how obnoxious you are. You are absolutely entitled to your opinion though.

How is being obnoxious? He stated his opinion, which is an opinion, that seems to be shared by other members. You continue to attempt to validate your purchase. Enjoy the button.
I went to go shoot at night but forgot my freakin tripod…oh well. still did what i could lol Also, these are probably the last pics ill be posting until i make some changes… got my eye on a few sets of wheels. tired of buying whatever good deal I find and just being “ok” with it lol
I thought I'd add a decent pic of my stock X after having it up on blocks for two weeks after doing spring maintenence and a bunch of "stuff" to it ... turns out I cant take a decent pic, but here it is anyways for the pool...

Very nice man. Black on silver is the cleanest of the cleanest when it's clean lol do you mines sharing what specs those tires are in the rear. Also are you running staggered wheels or a square setup?

Thanks man. I'm running a staggered setup, pilot supersports all around, 245/40/19 up front and 285/35/19 at the rear. The rears are a hair above "recommended" width for the rear coupe rims but I've never had a problem, just a big-a$$ grin on my face when they hook up

DAMNNNN 285? lol I was planning to go 275 if I still have the wheels but i don't think I will. I was asking because I know with the X your rolling diameter has to be within a certain spec for the sake of the driveline
