No I wasn't meaning to talk about design exclusivity - I was just saying that I wouldn't ever put a Vossen wheel on my personal car and that design reminds me of such.

Since you were asking for thoughts I just put my initial ones there, but in the end all that matters is whether or not you like it.

I just gave my honest initial reaction since he asked for thoughts. Everyone is entitled to have different opinions right? That's the great thing that we can all agree not to agree at times.

Ok, I'll play along- I'm also a huge wheel snob, but mainly for lightness and strength because I track my cars. Given, the wheels have to look good too, but that is a distant 3rd.

Then again, Rochester, you also have to consider yourself a bit of a wheel snob. I mean you even have a picture of your wheels with the name of them in your signature...

I think the link to the Ferraris on Vossens is a bad example to highlight the quality of Vossen as most of the pictures make their wheels look really cheap. The wheels you have on your car look pretty decent, but they are just too heavy for my use and style was more important to their design, hence the goofy valve stem set up.

 

I was waiting to see if anyone would notice all those Ferraris were using Vossen's new line of forged rims.

In related news, and still completely off thread topic, tonight I actually saw my very first other car with a set of CVT's. They were huge, and tucked behind the fenders of a slammed Mercedes. It looked utterly ridiculous.
