Honestly didn't know that was an issue. I've done it on all of my previous lights as well without any issues. Just checked and I do have a small bubble. ****in mad right now. I Guess the pint wasn't cured yet and it couldn't take the heat. Idk

I kept wondering why many of the 180 paint jobs left that area alone, or for that matter why that section of the assembly was ridged in the first place. The explanation makes sense, how the projector lens acts as a magnifying glass for mid-day sunlight.

Found some old cans of Antracite plastidip I had laying around from something else, figured i'd see how the grille looks like in a different color.
Not bad, but i still plan on taking that off and wrapping it like the midnight grille. Still way better than 96k miles worth of chips on the chrome grille.

Also need to order the Dr. Colorchip kit to try and hide all those marks on the front end
