I think the dialing in is just beginning! Suspension wise the car was very neutral and I could control it fairly well. Thankfully, I didn't have any scary understeer moments and I could control the oversteer with the throttle as long as I kept the turbos from spooling too high (the car would start going sideways on the straights at the top of 3rd gear). A better track suited tire/wheel setup is definitely needed!

In the three weeks I've had it, I've:
  • put Diode Dynamics LEDs in all interior lights
  • city lights
  • license plate lights
  • trunk light
  • reverse lights
  • 35% FormulaOne Pinnacle Series ceramic tint done
  • Stillen license plate relocater

I'll probably hold off on more stuff until spring. It'll give me some time to save up for coilovers.

That's my dad's new S5.
Honestly right now the two cars are fairly evenly matched although the S5 is a bit faster on the straightaways.

The S5 will have the APR tune soon which will bump it up to 450hp then it'll be fast as hell lol

lol! i was literally just reading that. I saw pics of a blue slate with gloss black trim and i think it looks really really good. I just ordered two rolls of 3M gloss black

Not sure if i should do the front grille though, what do you think?

I don't actually know what model wheels they are. They are TSW but I totally forgot the exact name of them. I think TSW Zolder?

The grill isn't too bad to wrap but see how your trim goes, if you've got the knack for that stuff give the grill a try. I've done a few of them and with some heat and stretch it goes on pretty well.

Spent the afternoon detailing, inside & out. Looks purdy.
10 spoke coupe wheels will go out to powdercoat in the next week or so. I'll take some real photos after that...

I'm between some stock-ish looking metallic silver or going full bore with burgundy or wine red.

The grey / red combination has made me drool since my Golf R days, and this car in particular. The question is whether I want to stand out THAT much... my driving already makes me stand out.
