Of course, now that your OEM exhaust tips look new again, you're probably looking at the design of said tips and thinking it could be better.
If a full cat-back is out of the question, you could always install the Tanabe axle-back, which is a very attractive and affordable swap, and totally DIY. Or you could cut the tips off and weld on something new. Not the easiest solution, but not rocket-science either. Few people here actually go that route... I suspect blame lies in getting all the up-front answers on diameter, length, design, etc. And finding a good welder with skills and patience to deal with your request. It can be daunting.

I'm still waiting on a couple more parts to complete the new build, and will post some new pics in a few weeks once its "done" (obviously the word done is a relative term... I mean, at least for this phase). I have several threads for the original build over on the G35Driver forum, but I also plan to start a new build thread on here soon, so stay tuned!
