Yep, purely an aesthetic consideration. I went with 15mm, but a lot of people go with 20mm. And for me, it's a seasonal thing, now that the ducks are winter rims.
Brand new fresh out of the dealer.

Looking forward to be part of this g community!
Nice purchase. Is it just me, or does anyone else get peeved about dealers leaving wax/polish in the ring of the proximity sensors I'm off to the Random Rants thread now.

just noticed that now that you mentioned!
keen eye my friend!
Welcome to the site, nice G you found.
Now start cleaning that mess up, lol.
i just went out to the car to clean it off...turns out it's the clear/rubbery ring that is part of the proximity sensor. as far as the wax, there were like tiny specs that i cleaned off but the rings look like they belong there.
If it's rubbery, then they are likely whited out from the wax and you may never get it off of there now. I don't believe synthetics do that to rubber (one of the reasons why I use them instead of carnuba. Oh well.
Edit: Ahh...I looked up some new OEMs to take a look. Will have to take a better look at my buddy's car later on to see if it's just me trippin. Good catch.
Hey, is your lips machined finished? I have Works cv 202 with the machined finished, caught some sprinklers and being in socal it dried and now it's impossible to clean those water spots out of the lips! let me know if you ever ran into that problem and what do you use to normally clean your wheels, especially the small space in between the spokes and the lips? thanks in advance!
