It was as if there were 10 invisible people there all frantically pushing every button and having every setting go up and down on my air system only. The radio was playing the whole time and acted normally as did everything else. Nothing I could do had any effect, it would not respond at all to anything I did to the controls. The thing that was concerning was that A/C button turning my compressor on and off over and over and over.

I was able to take an exit pretty quickly and turned the car off and back on, at which point everything went back to normal and stayed normal for the rest of the trip tonight.

Anybody ever heard of anything like that?

 

Have you done anything mod wise that required an electrical hookup?

 

What system are you running? Did you install it yourself?

 

Sorry for the lack of details. This is a 2012 G37S, just boght it last week. Dealership says that they will take a look when I bring it in next week to get some other stuff done.

 

This happened to me in 2010, shortly after I bought my 2010 G37x Sedan with Navi. It was winter and I had to park my car for 15 minutes and start again before this problem went away. Dealership couldn't reproduce it or find any trouble code. It's never happened to me since.

 

Had the inverse problem on my 2011 G where my HVAC was fine but Navi + Radio all turned off for about 30 seconds and then came back on a highway drive...happened once again after that but never again...
