Rough idle

2011 G37xs, when in drive, the engine has a rough idle, almost like this was a rough 4 cylinder, not a refined (ok, somewhat refined) V6.
Build date is late 2010, I don't know what has been done to the car for the first 12k miles as I bought it used.

My 08 coupe was as smooth as could be, is this common with the sedan?

Low or high oil pressure can affect that. At least, that's what caused mine, until the lack of lubrication messed up some valves, and then the valves caused that. Luckily not on my G37.

In my experience, when you raise the RPM the oil pressure can rise and stop the rumbling/ticking, so it's possible you'll only feel it in idle, but definitely get it checked out before it causes more issues.
