I personally like the look of both the sedan and coupe. Both look great driving on the road. I'm still glad I chose the sedan, especially when I have a 3rd or 4th person in the car. I think the G is one of the few cars that can look good with 2 or 4 doors.

2nd post on the subject: I have the sedan, fits more people and holds more stuff. I came from an SUV so more room is better.

The wife loves the coupe convertible, so that may be the next purchase. I love the look of it, too.

They are both beautiful cars... just depends on needs.

What TinsleyC said. Depends on your needs and I'll add where you are in life.

Don't need backseats, passengers more than 2 (give or take) then the coupe is for you.

vert > coupe > sedan though

/ my trolling.

I like the look of the Sedan better (but wasn't true for the G35- I definitely liked the coup look better).

When I first got my G37, someone at church said "Your new car looks great, but with a 2 year old, shouldn't you have gotten a 4 door?" Their first impression upon seeing the car (without really looking at it closely) was that it was a sports car and therefore not a sedan. They were suprised when I told them it WAS a sedan and to go back out and take a look.

I don't like sedans in generally, but I LOVE the look of the G37 Sedan, which works out because with a 2 year old I'd have had to buy the sedan if I wanted it or not (getting rid of my Mustang was one justification for getting the new car).

My first car was a coupe, but it the dimensions and the size of the car were mainly sedan-like so it didn't "feel" coupe-y.

I've driven in pony cars and have rode inside many a 2-door and for me, there's just a higher sense of practicality, comfort, and usefulness in a sedan that appeals much more to me personally.

It was a big dealbreaker for me when it came down to buying my G, but I don't hate coupes.

See, if you want only 2 doors and fit 2 people, there are so many cars to choose from that can be: faster (porsche cayman, lotus or 370z), cheaper (370z or miata), easier to mod (370z or miata), fancier (BMW or Porsche), smaller (lotus or cayman), bigger, or more prestige.

Where as in a 4 door, to get this level of performance, reliability, rear wheel drive, cost there really isn't anything available that compared. Lexus IS isn't the same. BMW or MB lack the reliability and costs significantly more for the same equipment. Porsche doesn't make a 4 door for less than 100k. Nissan or Toyota doesn't have a RWD sedan.

Wanted a luxury v6 coupe manual and didn't want a German car.
The vert looks like a chics car. The early sedans have down syndrome.

Just bought my 2011 G37S Sedan today. The sedan was a must as we have a 2yr old & a 5mth old. I have always liked the sedans... Well the 03 04 years were a little blah.
The 05 06 look nice if modded right. And the 07 and up are the tit's!!
I have owned many infinitis and always go back to the sedan!
