G37XS with wood trim??

Has anyone seen a G37X sedan with the sport package that also has the interior accent (wood) package?
Nothing here in the MA/NH/RI/CT region.

According to my salesman it;s not possible. We got the car with a gray trim and mentioned we wanted the wood one.. he said they don't make them like that. don't know why.

You can build one on Infiniti's web site.

I did a quick google search, this is one of many sites:

2011 Infiniti G37 Wood Grain Dash Kits | Carbon Fiber

Looks like you can get a full kit for a decent price.

fyi...these are just overlays but maybe something to consider if price is a concern.

Don't do the aftermarket wood!!! I did and regret doing it. Although it will give you the wood look from afar. It doesn't compare with a factory job. It will be an overlay so it will appear to sit on top of the panel, which it will. Secondly, this particular one looks like the one I have which has some funky silver trim that goes on the bottom of the door panel. I was not told about that section till after they had installed my pkg. Rightfully the dealer did not install that section as they said it looks better without. Downside is it looks slightly incomplete with out it. I could see why they did that small section as the door panel has a slight bevel at the bottom and two identical pieces would look sectioned so they decided to contrast. I reamed the dealer for not telling me they were doing an incomplete install and did not pay for it. However the damage was done since the process in irreversible due to the adhesives. Bottom line, don't do it. If you want wood, be patient and order the factory install. The one upside is the aftermarket pkg covers the area around the seat heater controls. I think that is a design failure in the factory pkg.

Does anyone know is it possible to get the Maple accent installed if it doesn't come factory installed maybe purchase it online cheap and have someone else install it so its not so expensive? I have a 2011 G37xS Black/Black with the aluminum finish but would love to have the maple accent put in if possible. Thanks!

Kenny, one dealer I'm talking to said they tried ordering sport with wood and it wouldn't go through.
Another dealer is offering to swap the wood package from another car on the lot, can that be done without damage?

no offense thats like telling your neighbor you're going to move the property line a few feet b/c you need to fit your car in.

cars are listed w/ proper window stickers for a purpose...

if it's a preowned car, different story

I wondered how they would explain the missing wood to the next customer!!
Any idea why the first dealer couldn't order it?

That is exactly what I had done. I didn't get a sport, but they had an X with 200miles on it for a good deal, but I had to have the wood. 4 hours later the aluminum was gone and the wood was swapped out from another car on the lot. Looks great.
And yes, they had to pull it from a pre-owned car

To add an end to this, I ended up finding, from the same dealer who was willing to swap the wood trim, a used but untitled Infiniti corporate car.

I had to point out that it had sport AND wood trim and was on their lot, to the person that was trying so hard to locate my choice!

2011 G37XS- FULLY loaded with 12k miles plus 4yr 48k warranty for 10k under MSRP last September.
