Greeting forum! Lots of good info here.

I saw in this thread that the G37 6MT does not have the rear A/C vents in the center console like the automatic does and that they are only under the seats.

Can someone please confirm this for me and, if possible, post pictures too? Thanks!

the armrest is really what throws it off for me, i took it for granted before lol

 

You dont need an armrest when you're driving manual!

^ i do my 2010 has 35,000 miles on it now. anyways, i was always curious as to whether or not the automatics had rear vents. apparently they do. nice to know that ours have vents under the seats. do the autos have them as well?

 

^ yes, the auto has both rear vent locations.

You want rear vents? I'm down to trade lol.

 

its because of the tranny configuration from what i read, and the auto armrest would be disruptive when shifting cause of height and length imo.

 

Don't feel bad, you're not missing out. My '07x had them and whenever my kids where in the car they shut that vent off because it was "too cold". The floor ducts are more than adequate.

 

cause the HVAC unit is behind the center console and there is a big stick between that and the rear seats
