OP - you might want to leave the OEM wheels/tires on unless the new setup is really light. most guys lose ET and trap speed when they upsize wheels since more inertia is induced to rotate a larger diameter mass.

my '04 G35 6MT sedan lost ET and speed when i switched from the stock 17's to the coupe forged 19" rays. even though the overall weight was not much different, it takes more rotational force to get the 19's moving.

well, i believe the te's are lighter than oe wheels, no? i'll have to weight them when i get a chance.
