Iphone4 Bluetooth Not Always Connecting in G37 Sedan?

anyone else experience iphone4 not always connecting in the car right away? sometimes takes a little while or you manually have to connect it? is it my phone or just the way the bluetooth is in my car because my blackberry always seemed to connect right away?

so why does it do this? never seemed to happen with my blackberry. is it maybe because the iphone4 is a newer phone and the car is a 2009 maybe?

I have an '09 with an iPhone 4 and I have connectivity issues as well. Probably 1 out of 5 times or so it does not connect. Was there a known issue that required the update djguy?

No there wasn't a known issue but I spoke to apple they said try resetting the phone and it still had issues so then I went to infiniti and complained and they did some kind of system reset and I haven't had a problem since..this was almost 4 months ago

While I have not had any problems with my 11 sedan so far, the iPhone 4 has been plagued with Bluetooth problems. There are threads over on iCafe about the iPhone pairing and/or staying connected to just about anything with Bluetooth from PC's to headsets to cars, etc...

I turned off the automatic phonebook download feature on my 2010 SHO with Sync and my connection problems went away. I now download manually, the system holds that info and if I've made major changes (NOT!) then I download manually again. I think there's a problem with the iPhone 4 and the downloading of the phonebook. I realize the makes are different but I believe the issue is a Bluetooth version issue.

My Iphone connects fine, it's the calls that suck! I will have one call that will be fine(usually i get at least one good call), then after people on the other end can't hear me, say i sound like i'm underwater or sound like a Klingon.

I have the same problem. I get yelled at everytime i answer the phone through the bluetooth. I can think of maybe 4 times i have used bluetooth since i have had the car. It is VERY annoying. My 335i had GREAT connections and never a problem. Sometimes my phone wont even vibrate or ring in the car when someone is calling...
