C+D is reporting that Infiniti will be using the Mercedes 3.5 motor instead of the VQ in the next gen G. A step down IMO.

^6 they also reported the amg engines going in lol. Not sure how accurate all that info will be though in the end

Is that possibly the Mercedes 3.5 Diesel only? I can't imagine a replacement of the VQ gas with a Mercedes 3.5 gas?

Yeah, I'm not buying any of that stuff about the engines. Nissan developed a brand new 3.0 V6 diesel with Renault that's used in their European cars. Why get a new one from MB?

Have any of you seen the new Motor Trend with the thumbnail of the new Lexus GS? Looks like they said, "Say, let's make something with a face even more butt ugly than the front of a '10 Acura".
