I have 35 on the sides and 20 in the back with MW & stone interior and you still can't tell the difference. Got mine with ceramic based film so no interference with nav or other electronics and no conflict with my radar/laser detector. Highly recommend the stuff. What a huge difference with interior temperature.
Yeah I got 3m Ceramic Based as well. The tint was called color stable (i think) and it is a dark one.
^ this is what stupid looks like according to u then:
LOL - No, I'm correct. You were way off on your numbers as the previous guy said. I can see right through those windows in that shot and it is in the shade. There is no way they are 15% and I highly doubt ANYONE has done 5% on their windshield.
I prefer them to be all the same shade...looks cleaner that way. I have 35% all around on my MW. also, your interior color plays a factor also. Graphite will make it look darker.
with you all the way. i prefer all to be the same shade.
How many have tinted their sunroof? I'm getting 15% on Saturday - I like to have the shade open but not get a suntan LOL.
I thought the sunroof came pretinted from the factory at around 15-20%. Mine was before the shrink wrap was taken off by the dealer upon delivery. I could be wrong though.

It is. Not sure what percent. ..some people still like to get it darker though.

I'm guessing you are 35% sides. (what I have)
by windshield, i meant rear btw, just making it sure.
and i can guarantee you that is 15%, cuz that is my car. and i have 15% all around
there is no way that is 15 on the sides...go get it light metered...more like 35 i use to tint windows and if that was 15 you wouldnt be able to see inside

BIG BIG Difference. ..when brought up in casual conversation, and you say windshield, people are going think WINDSHIELD - as in the front. Especially on this forum where many debates have been had about front windshield tinting. SO, when you said 5% front windshield, that's where the stupid comment comes in, as you can now imagine.
Mine's at the tint shop right now. Going 35% all around and already printed out a copy of the Illinois law to keep in my glove box to prove to the donut-eaters out there that I comply.
First car I've ever tinted, BTW. I have a graphite interior so I think 35% will be plenty dark for me.
To "Damn Dirty Ape" in So. Illinois, yes! I *did* ask them to tint up my sunroof as well (even though it comes tinted). I didn't specify percentage up there but my guess is it'll be 35% as well.

That's what I'm looking to do with my car...what brand tint is that?
