+1 I made an appointment for monday and im doin 20% all around. had 35% on my old car and regreted it
I'd have to look at my receipt to be sure. I went as dark as possible on the rear windows and a shade lighter on the front 2, so it's dark. The front 2 are completely illegal in CA, but the majority of people do it.
^That's gonna be dark.

Just got Hybrid tint with 35% all the way around. Since the hybrid tint keeps out the heat pretty good, I decided not to go with 20% and risk having to re-do all the tint after a ticket. I love it...it's amazing and soo much cooler now, literally.

DJ - I think you got your percentages off. Check out this site for film percentages: Window Tint Percentages
5% means almost total black with only 5% of the light penetrating the film. That is probably why the question about 5% was asked about seeing through the front. I think you meant the front was lightly tinted and the rest is really dark. You're lucky you can get away with those tints in MA. Here in CA they regulate every f'ing little thing they can think of. Sometimes it's a PIA, but quality of life is the trade off.
