Back in a G
Back in a G
Hi all. I used to own a 2005 G35 6MT until 2007. Traded it in for various reasons, but just picked up a 2010 G37xS.
Back when I had my G35, I had a Z-Tube on it. With the new engine, is there something that is similar for the dual intakes? Not looking to void my extended elite warranty.
Also, what are some other beginner mods that can be done?
Thanks!

I dont think the Injens come with a full tube like the ztube did. Im sure your not looking for the Injen CAI. That leaves you with a short list of full tube ram-air intakes such as Fujita, R2C maybe and perhaps a few more.
I used to have an 07' G35 coupe and I loved my Injen intake on it mainly because I could either use it cold air or ram-air, it was great!!

Jim Wolf Technologies makes aftermarket parts specifically for Nissan/Infiniti cars.
I have the dual popcharger intakes installed on my car already. If nothing else, they look better and they are easy to clean and replace, saving you money on replacing air filters.
The website claims 6-10 whp gains, but I dunno... seems a bit generous to me.

I'm running the JWT (Jim Wolf) popchargers and love them. They're also CARB emissions legal and won't impact warranty (to my knowledge). After you do the intakes, maybe exhaust, suspension (springs vs coils) then rims....the list always continues to grow.
