I thought the Invidia's don't have a fitment for the X sedan? OP has an X.

 

Based on looks, I'm leaning towards the FI, Stillen, and Tanabe in that order, but I want the quietest of these 3.

Can anyone rank these in order of quiet to loud?

A friend of mine put a Greddy Spectrum Elite SE on his sedan. It's not too aggressive and has a nice tuned sound. I would highly recommend it.

 

LOL invidia is relatively quiet, but people on here talk like it's quieter than stock. It's considerably louder than stock.

 

This is what I did, I wanted some growl.. and got it.

It's about the same volume as the stock coupe exhaust which is perfect for me. Too bad it doesn't work those with and x.

OP, I would go with tanabe if you can stomach the rocket booster look.

 

The tanabe tips aren't much different in size than the fx35 that I saw the other day with a factory setup.

I recently removed my Stillen carback because that system is very loud! Believe me and now I am selling it. Gonna post it up here soon. My buddies have Ark and Fast Intentions and they are annoyingly loud too. If you like a lot of drone in your cabin and people hearing you a couple of blocks away then I highly recommend Stillen, Ark, and Fast Intentions. Now I have Invidia on my sedan and it is very mellow. It is louder then stock but not by much. It sounds more like the coupe but only a tad bit louder. I definitely recommend you getting Invidia if you are looking for something that sounds great and isn't too loud.

 

I thought I was being too picky about that and that nobody else noticed it. I'm even debating painting that tube section black if I go that route.

Does the Invidia fit the AWD? I thought I read it did but I can't find that post anymore. Can someone confirm AWD fitment?

Invidia doesn't fit the AWD without modifying the y pipes, but it can be done.

I couldn't be happier with the invidia on my rwd. Just the right volume, and if I do want louder down the road, I'll just add hfc.

What qpham45 said about stillen, FI, and ark is consistent with everything I've read on these forums. While they do sound good, it's pretty easy to tell they're aftermarket when you hear one driving by.
