Windshield question

I noticed that the windshield on my car is not branded the same as the rest of the glass.

Is that normal? Could my car have been in an accident before I bought it (I bought it brand new)?

The door glass says Nippon on it somewhere, which I believe is an OEM provider. The branding on the windshield is from a different company.

I *think* its normal, but figured Id ask to see if anyone happened to notice the same thing with their cars.

Thanks.

-Chris

Yeah, normal. There was a recent thread on this that confirmed normal.

Nippon refers to the native name of Japan. A lot of Japanese corporations, product names, etc will have Nippon in it

Don't worry, I think they are all like that.

I was wondering about the same thing when I first got my car too. According to my research, the windshield marked "AGC" means ASAHI GLASS CO LTD (DOT20), which is a supplier of Nissan's windshield.
