Car Acts Goofy Sometimes

My G does strange things occasionally. A few times it has immediately locked itself after I got out and closed the door, and other times it has locked itself before I have even touched anything after getting in and closing the door .

Other times the alarm has gone off after I stopped and turned the engine off and opened the door. Yesterday I got in and it started doing the fast beeping thing that it does when you try to lock the door when you've forgotten the key inside, but I hadn't even touched anything yet. I just sat there a few seconds and it stopped, but I was a little puzzled.

Has anyone else experienced any of these things, and if so, any idea what the deal is?

You must be the proud owner of one of the learning G's. It's like a baby now, it will behave badly until it learns you. I may wet your garage floor and will probably shift awkwardly.

While some find snapping a microfiber towel on the rear bumper abusive, I happen to believe it instills respect. If this continues to happen I'd take it to the dealer and ask it be retrained, just give him the symptoms you've been experiencing.
