is this normal? almost cracking and creased leather

i know lots of people have leather issues, but is this something to take to the dealer or is it too minor? car is 2010 with 7000 miles. please note, I am not a huge guy...about 160lbs and i've treated the leather with Zaino leather cleaner and Leather in a bottle every 1-2 months.

Don't know if the dealer will do anything as it doesn't look that bad, BUT I have a 2008 with 47,000 miles and my leather looks better than that...

ya, it doesn't look good, but i guess my question is, how bad does it have to be for the dealer to replace them? i know people have gotten their seats replaced, but at what condition?

It all varies. I got my leather seat cover replaced in the middle of December and it looked nicer than that...However, they told me as of 12/1/10, they would no longer replace seats/covers as Infiniti was "officially" labeling it as a wear and tear item.

Search for the leather seat issue thread. Numerous folks show pics and talk about whether they were successful at getting it replaced or not. Not sure if anyone has replaced them recently since the dealership told me it wouldnt be covered. But good luck and its probably a waste of your time....they replaced mine 1 month ago and now less than 500miles the bubbles are already back...

Looks very close to the condition of my leather seat and I have less than 10k. I've also conditioned and cleaned the leather several times to help prevent this.

Depending on your climate and wear patterns, the leather will show that or worse. "Almost" torn or creased is pretty normal from what I can see of your pics. Infiniti will not replace seats based on that wear.

You also have the butt bubbles forming. When I got mine replaced at 17k mles, the dealer said the bubbles were the big problem with the seat, not the creasing.
