Hole in the spoiler

Yesterday I received my spoiler that I bought (wing) and today I was trying to put it on. Everything went smooth but one little mistake ruined my day. I was drilling for the holes for the screws but accidentally drilled all the way to the topof the spoiler and now I have a hole about 5/32 or something like that.
Very cautionly I drilled the other side and got it not to stick out this one too lol. At the end I have the spoiler installed and hooked up which gives my car an awesome look. The problem is that how do I go about fixing that damn stupid hole? I don't wanna take it to a body shop cuz I can live with it, if not I want to fix it my self with some kind of product if you guys now about.
I'll post pics as soon as I can get some as right now it's too dark to take picture

Only quick fix to do yourself would be to fill the hole with Bondo and paint over it with touch up. To do it right - body shop would do similar but sand properly, primer, blend real paint and make it perfect. Wouldn't actually cost that much..

LOL - bondo is a filling compound for body work. When mixed correctly it is like a creamy dough. Once in place it hardens and is sandable. You can usually get a can at most chain auto part stores. If you are not handy or have no knowledge on the subject, you may want to get help from someone who does.

Got it thank you. The hole is so tiny that it's not even noticeable but for the sake of perfection I'm gonna take it to few shops and get an estimate. If the price is less than $100 then I'll get it fixed if not I'll try the bondo jombo thingy.

I would imagine you should be able to find someone to do it under $100.

get a tube of paintable 100% silicone and fill the hole and make the surface of the caulk level.. no sanding.. just put a little paint on the silicone and ur done.. if the hole is that small.. if not then bondo is your best option..

I was thinking that too... but didn't want to give a kind of "ghetto" response although at 5/32 it would probably work fine. Although I don't think he'll ever get it smooth.. may always look textured like something underneath the paint.

I'm worried if I should leave it alone and deal with a little black dot in the side of the spoiler or should I do one of the suggestions above and make it look like crap afterwards cuz I suck when it comes to paint job and surfacing

Any of the suggested methods will look better then having a hole in your spoiler.

Leaving a whole will let water in, which will turn to rust inside, which...

You don't say what the paint color is. If it is black or white I would just get matching silicone caulk and fill it that way. It will show, but the repair might too - especially anything you can get done for less than $100.

Why does LP color bother you when you start the car?

Both of the suggestions for hole fill will be fine. The hole is so small that even a slight imperfection in the finish will be virtually unnoticeable. Someone would really have to be looking hard to find it.

Of course if the color of your car bugs you, then maybe the small hole repair will too. LOL
