Critters living in your G37

Does anyone else have this problem or has it just been me?

In my last car and now my 2 month old G37, I keep noticing that some flying critter or spider keeps creeping into my vehicle and stay there for some time. Like today, I saw a small spider web on my driver-side dashboard.

Any solutions other than searching and killing the bug?

I think there is a TSB for this exact issue.

I get this when I park under trees with the windows down.

Haven't had any problems with this on our G37xS in over a year. Also didn't have any problems with the Maxima SE before that. Don't leave the windows open when parked is the first thing. Next, keep the G in a garage as much as possible to keep the Great Outdoors...well, outdoors!

Just turn up the tunes and blast the bass. If they are as sensitive to rattles as many of the G owners on this forum are, they will probably leave!

LOL yea this is a real issue, but not serious. No, I never leave the windows open. It's just that sometimes I open the windows bugs get in somehow. I live in northern California so I guess there may be more bugs here than like in cold Illinois or something.

Yes, I had the same problem in my Maxima SE, too. These bugs bug the heck out of me! Haha

Have you considered maybe it's not the car, but you. Seems like bugs are attracted to you for some reason... maybe you can try to change to axe body wash.

If you park in a garage, consider setting off a Bug Bomb in there. If you park outside, try spraying the area. They must be getting in via the windows. If not, you have a serious bug problem, as they're crawling in your vents! Or you're wearing them...

LOL... People sure do have a sense of humor. Well, this is a just a rare occurrence.

Hey, wait till you guys get a bug in your car, you guys will get what I mean, and that's if you'll even notice that the bug is there haha.

But for real though, I do have spiders in my garage and since I leave the top down it's not a big deal. They are gone as I head on the highway.

my coworker had a rat stuck in her dash behind the glove compartment. It was next to the ac blower. anyways, one day we smell this disgusting odor, like something died in there. took it to the mechanic, took the dash apart, and sure enough, dead rat. well, part of it, because apparently she killed it by cutting it up with the ac blower fan when she turned on her ac. so gross.
