I installed the front studs for my H&R spacers with ease and didn't have time to check the rear. Is it as straight forward as the front. I hope i don't have to remove the hub or anything stupid like that. Thanks
BTW can I get an alignment with spacers on front and none on the rear, or do I have to wait till I receive the rear spacers.

I assume they are the same on sedan as coupe and if so then they are a little more complicated than the fronts. I did my fronts myself then paid someone to do the rear because I did not want to mess with it.

That sucks. I would need a special tool then to remove the hub maybe?

The rear is actually easier than the front. The only thing that will take a little more time is getting the rear rotor off. I sprayed the area around the studs and anywhere i could to get behind the rotor with some pb blaster. Let it soak for about 30 mins. I then took a 2x4 about 12" long and put it across the rotor surface, then tapped the wood with a mallet. This knocked the rotor loose and i was then able to pull the rotor off. The swapping of the studs is actually easier on the rear hub because there is more room behind the hub for removing and installing new studs.

Well there you go. I looked at it and saw you had to remove the rotor and I was out.

Thanks, It's a new car so the rear caliper, shouldn't really be frozen. Either way I don't have to remove the hub so I'm happy. It's a 2010 g37XS and I lowered it and replaced all the camber and toe arms with the SPC kit. I also put 19's with 275/35 and 245/40's and the rear swaybar upgrade. I am gonna get it aligned tomorrow. Then add the rear spacers when they come in the mail on Wednesday.

Nope, no removal of the hub is needed. Seeing that your car is newer the rotor should come off easy. Also, remember to have your parking brake off so it isnt holding onto the drum area of the rear rotor. If the rotor doesnt come off, then use my trick, and it will pop right off without any damage done to the rotor surface. Once the rotor is off you will be pleasantly surprised to see how much more room you have to move around for geting the old studs out and new ones in....i know i was haha

Thanks for all the help. unfortunately the only thing left to do is supercharge it now. I see no reason to screw around with expensive mufflers and airflows for little hp gains. in a year i will just supercharge it and call it a day.
