The problem I have is, I live in Puerto Rico with only one Infinti Dealer, they ask me 950.00 for the oem spoiler w/o installation and all the dealers I call in the states have the lip version not this one.

For sure I will post some pics, specially after installing the new wheels I'll buy this week. The name of the store is Sportwing, they buy spoilers from Dawn Enterprises (Dawnenterprises.com). In fact there is a spoiler with the make an offer option by Infiniti of Tacoma Dealer that was made by

I finally got my spoiler installed and guess what the dealer messed up my spoiler,
they drill thru the hole thing. I can't believe my luck and the splash guards they installed the same day, have gaps that allow water to get inside the splash guards.

 

and what are they going to do about it? nothing?

 

Same with my mud guards. My buddy is right. You buy a Lexus the chance is that they treat it like a Lexus. You buy an Infiniti, they treat it like a Nissan. The same guy who worked on the Versa, worked on your Infiniti. At least this applies to my local dealerships.

I brought my mud guards back, they said the reason why there are gaps is because the mud guards were wrapped when they received them. So I asked them "why the hell would you put them on then? risking drilling at the wrong locations?"

 

First of all They told me they are not going to charge me for the labor
($300.00) and that they can send my spoiler to their body shop to get it fix.
Also that if I wanted to get a new one and install it for free. Is up to me.

 

^ umm, well then it sounds like they have addressed your concerns. they are owning their mistake and willing to re-work everything to your satisfaction, so what else could they do?

Mine didn't fit either. They ordered and installed new ones. I was told the "S" had different splash-guards.

 

I think it just need some taping, the installation instructions explain that taping is required to get a tight fit. My gaps are not that big is about 1/16" (aproximate) I know in my case is easy to fix.

 

^ Yeah, the taping on the splash guards is very important for the right fit. Cleaning and prepping the tape areas is important, as well, otherwise the tape may pull away. It's also stated that the working temp should be above 60 degrees during the install. I believe this might be so the plastic can flex properly for a proper fit. Did mine myself and they all fit nicely. I can also see where a problem might occur if the holes are drilled off-center of the proper locations.
