Acceleration when braking???

You need to go to the track and start driving then! Happened plenty of times in my old car, even on the street. I think the 1st gen cars gas and brake were much closer together.

OP, it may be a possibility though, take a look at it next time it happens to you. Seems like this forum is quick to jump on answers that intend to make the poster feel stupid and not actually answer the question at hand.

Must have bought it from a bad sales person if he never explained down shift rev matching coupled with adaptive shift control
