G's top speed

Anyone know what the official top speed is of the G37? (in km or miles/hr)
It seems that it is just getting warmed up at around 170km/hr.

Now what is the fastest speed you have experienced in your G?
In Canada,if you're caught doing 150km,they can impound your car for 3 days.

If you're caught doing 2x the limit (200km),I believe you can be charged for careless driving!

So who has the top speed out there?

I hit 155mph too. Definitely could go a bit more though. The cars still pulling at that speed. I don't know if anyones reached the unlimited top speed though

I thought I heard previously it was in the 140's... 155! Wow.

So what's the RPM running at, when going 155 MPH?

also keep in mind that when the speedo says 155 your actually doing about 138. The speedometer is tuned more for lower speeds and becomes inaccurate up top.

I went up to 140km/h but not for long.. there are cops everywhere in quebec dying to give you tickets. it's pretty nuts how many there are. Every 8-10 clicks i see one on the highway. They have nothing better to do.

i'm going to the track soon to push the car for real

I've hit around 168mph

On a dyno though

On a serious note, top speed isn't an accurate measure of a cars performance.. F1 cars don't hit 200mph on the longest of straights

^That's true but the question was just about the ability of the car to hit top speed

I few months ago a guy was caught doing 250 km/h on the highway here in Toronto in a G37 coupe. In the news story they had a quote from a Nissan PR person that said 250 km/h (155 mph) was the car's top speed.
