In a way, I hope its not anything in the G-Lineup. The current G will be 5 years old (2011 models), so....I don't want a new engine (2.5L which is no new news)...or really anything that lengthens its run.
I'd like to see an all new sedan for 2012 Model Year and Coupe for 2013.
What do I think the new cars are?
Infiniti Electric Vehicle
Infiniti GT-R type car
Discuss.

So...will the 2.5L sedan exist (fingers crossed) for one year (2011) and then go into a all new 2012G? I think it would be lame to run the G sedan 6 model years.
As far as the updated coupe....I'm not sure Infiniti would go through all that trouble this weekend for a refreshed model. The 2011 coupe is to the world what the 2010 sedan is. Updated aging car.
Infiniti states on Friday to join them from the "debut of a new Infiniti vehicle" and on Saturday the "introduction of the latest Infiniti vehicle"
Hmmmm.

The G25 is made to be an entry level G to compete with BMW and other similar vehicles. I don't think it will merge with any other models in the lineup, it'll stay it's own entirely

Wasn't the Q supposed to make a comeback? I thought I had heard that. I can't remember who or when or where I either heard/read it, but it has stuck out in my mind all this time.
So thats my guess: 2011 Infiniti Q Sedan, 2011 G25 sedan.
(BTW... on the Infiniti global page, they announced they introduced a diesel FX in Europe, an FX30d)

Lol, you beat me to it kroams.
This works in the same way as Nismo I guess. The Nismo Z with 350HP is not achieving anything special beyond the other VQ37s.
Cant wait to see what they will do to the sedan though.

Read in latest issue of Road & Track.. "Nissan/Renault was partnering with Daimler-Benz.. the two companies planning to extensively share platforms and engines. The first reports from Japan suggested that the next-generation Infiniti G sedan and coupe, as well as future M sedans, will be built on the Mercedes-Benz E-Class platform." Should be a very interesting mix!
