How did you manage no front plates? What state are you in? I am still sporting the dealer badge plates and front sticker registration. I was given the front license plate kit to drill the holes myself. I haven't had the heart to drill through bumper. So what should I do?

I just left the sticker the dealer puts on the lower corner of the windshield on...

I also live in CA and don't have a front plate. I spoke to a cop about not having front plates. He advised me that he never stops a car for not having a front plate if everything else is legal. However, he did warn me that having window tints that are too dark will always get you pulled over because that is a safety issue. Keep the rest of your G legal and you should be fine. A no license plate cite would be a fix it ticket. In a pinch I see a spot on the front facia where a plate could be installed temporarily with zippy ties.

In Texas (Dallas) - no front plate, either. Many cops have seen me, they don't care. I imagine that if I were stopped for something else they would write it up.

Dang that ride looks pretty sick in the moonlight white, now I'm jealous :-) Congrats on the purchase.

I agree about the rims, they don't look great in pictures but I think in person they are much better. Same with my 17" Journey rims - fugly in pics but not so bad in person. I tried to get the 18" wheel package from dealer, but Inifniti won't swap out the current wheels for the new ones. I would have to keep both sets. Unfortunately I already have 2nd set of winter wheels so it wasn't worth the money.

$379 + tax with $4400 out of pocket is a good deal? Wow I guess prices are not getting any better for these things.

That is one beautiful G though. White with black and all the toys. Looks hot!

well we sing the song of MSDs: Multiple Security Deposits (and money factors and residuals around here).

Know your leasing details and you'll get money BACK at the end of the lease as well lowering the overall cost of the car and lower monthly payments.

Provided of course that you happen to have thousands of dollars just sitting around that you won't need for at least a couple of years....

What was the buy out amount negotiated at the end of the lease? From just the limited information you've provided I don't believe that was a good deal..but a gorgeous G nonetheless.

Post up additional info on the deal and we can see if it really was one hell of a deal or not!
